Prof. Daniel Buser is Professor and Director of the Clinic for Oral Surgery and Stomatology at the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Berne, (ZMK Bern).
He has been president of several scientific organizations, the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO) in 1996/97, the Swiss Society of Oral Implantology (1999-2002), the Swiss Society of Oral Surgery and Stomatology (2002-07) and the ITI (International Team for Implantology, 2009-2013), the largest professional society in dental implantology.
His main field of research is in bone regeneration around enossal implants, in the surface technology and guided bone regeneration. He has authored and co-authored over 300 publications and book texts.
